Fraternity encourages members to volunteer in off-campus projects.
Between 60 and 70 members of Drake University's Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity cleared trash and brush and painted a house in the nearby Mondamin Presidential neighborhood on Sunday. Their work is part of a growing effort on the part of the school to develop lasting connections within the Des Moines community.
