Good Scholars raise funds for cancer - The Brown and White

It will take a lot of these to counter the previous post.
The Good Scholar Election, which seeks to raise money for cancer research and treatment, started last week and will continue through this Friday.

The fund-raising event, run by Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity, is now in its 15th year. Student organizations nominate a member with a minimum 3.25 GPA and seek donations for their candidates in hopes that they will win.

The campus-wide event has raised more than $400,000 in unrestricted yield during the past 15 years, said Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity brother and Good Scholar Committee member, Evan Gyllenhaal, ’07.
