Obligatory Season's Greetings Message

Well, Here it is. Christmas is upon us, ready or not.

We here at Sanguine et Purpure wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and the best of "The Holidays", whatever tradition you follow.

We have enjoyed creating this blog and communicating all the good, bad, and ugly items we could find about Sig Ep in particular and fraternities in general. When we started back in August we hoped to provide an alternative to the rather staid HQ web site, which at the time had no new entries since April. Judging from the activity we have gotten (Over 12,000 page views so far) we must claim a successful start.

And we have just started. In the coming months we plan to add new features to the site to make it easier for you to communicate back to us and with each other. We are planning to have a presence at the CLAs and will note the official (and unofficial) goings-on. Then of course, Conclave is coming in August. As they say - "Watch this space".

We also will keep calling it as we see it where we think the Fraternity can be improved. We have a great Brotherhood. It can be better. We have good leaders and the administrative staff works long and hard for little glory and less pay. They can do better - not in dedication or passion, but in focus and direction.

We also really want to hear from you. The post on Ritual a few days ago has drawn at least 14 comments and that is a good start. Do not hesitate to make a comment on any post. If you have something you would like to say - send it in to one of the contact email addresses. We will post anything reasonable regardless of where it is in the political spectrum. Yes, even PRO/ANTI BMP posts.

In closing We have to thank you once again for finding us, for reading us, and for coming back to see what outrageous thing we have posted this time. We will try not to disappoint you in the coming year.
