Baldwin-Wallace student hospitalized after scuffle

Update - We've got pictures...

"...I will be as generous with the faults of a brother as I would have him be with mine."

That's not an exact quote, but you see the point. Two members of Sigma Phi Epsilon at OH Zeta got into a fight and now an honor student is in the hospital with a fractured skull and brain swelling while his fraternity brother is charged with assault.

Some students who witnessed the two wrestling in a hallway told police that Adam Gaydos and his friend Brent Jones seemed to be playing. Others said the shoving match came after Jones' fiancée discovered her younger sister naked and necking with Gaydos in a locked dorm room, according to the police report.

Gaydos, a 20-year old junior from Mentor, turned himself in to Berea police Thursday and was released on a $2,500 bond. The college suspended him.

Jones, 21, a senior from Mount Vernon, remained at MetroHealth Medical Center Thursday night in critical condition. Gaydos and Jones -- both members of Sigma Phi Epsilon -- scuffled in a Heritage Hall hallway, according a police report.

Jones is a biology major and honor student who hoped to attend veterinarian school. His family, including his fiancée, has kept a vigil at the hospital, Richard said.

There always seems to be a woman involved in a story like this. The news story did not specify, but would anyone be shocked to learn that alcohol was in the mix as well?
