UT (that's Texas) - Arlington had an activity fair. The good guys were in the opening paragraphs of the story.
Emersed in a sea of people, Kyle Robbins stood, wearing a red T-shirt adorned with his fraternity letters.
Along with other members of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity, the film junior handed out fliers and shook hands as he scanned the crowd for potential pledges.Robbins’ fraternity was one of 160 organizations and 16 businesses that took part in the Activity Fair on Wednesday. The event drew an estimated 3,000 people who moved through the tables. Packed together, with pockets filled with fliers and hands full of free food, students shuffled their feet trying to navigate to each booth. Robbins said fraternities are always looking for potential pledges at the fair.“The event is a very good recruitment opportunity,” he said. “It’s a good way to let people on campus know who we are.”
