Northwestern Phi Delt Chapter suspended by national leaders

Northwestern's chapter of Phi Delta Theta has been suspended for review until further notice by the fraternity's national organization. This suspension follows an article published Jan. 9 in the New York Times Magazine that describes Phi Delts drinking off campus. Phi Delt members would not say if the article prompted the suspension. The suspension restricts Phi Delt from holding fraternity-sponsored events -- including pledging its nearly 22 new members.
