SPE for SGA at UGA

SPE, SGA, UGA. It's almost more than you can say 5 times in a row.

We wish him success, though.

Will Childs, a sophomore from Rome, and Tucker Brown, a sophomore from Bishop, are the presidential and vice-presidential candidates for the Classic Party in the upcoming SGA elections Feb. 8-9.

Childs also helped start a pilot program for midterm course evaluations in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, so professors can change things they're doing in the middle rather than the end of a semester to better help students.

Tucker chaired the External Affairs Committee as they started a petition to prevent the Board of Regents from raising tuition mid-year.

Childs said he has been involved in Hearts Everywhere Reaching Out (HERO) and chaired the Student Affairs committee this year.

He also worked with Dance Marathon, the Tate Society and is a brother in the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity.

"I think Tucker and my track record is our main qualification for the job," Childs said.
