Jake Pfister, Buffalo State ’99, was killed April 20, 2005, by a suicide bomber in Baghdad, while waiting for his company to assemble. Jake was an Army Specialist serving for the past four years, and is survived by his wife Ashley, and his mother (Amy) and grandmother. Jake and his wife Ashley were expecting their first child this June. Jake was 27 years old. Jake joined the New York Epsilon Chapter at the State University of New York at Buffalo in the fall of 1997 and later transferred to Buffalo State College.
