Frat boys in the news

Updated and expanded information from this earlier post.
Two fraternities at Henderson State University have been placed on temporary suspension after a fight broke out between members of the two organizations Friday night off campus.

The incident occurred in front of the Theta Xi fraternity house and allegedly involved members of that organization, Sigma Phi Epsilon and other students.

One witness claimed to have seen a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon bite Davis' ear, however, the police reports indicate that it is unclear who injured Davis.

Two students were arrested by Arkadelphia police officers, but were released later. Only one was issued a citation.

A Texas woman was arrested for disorderly conduct after Arkadelphia Police Sgt. Chris Harper reportedly had to force her to the ground when she would not stop "swinging her fist and kicking." She was later released after she cooperated.

Zachary Thomas Ramsey, 24, of 48 Robin Lane, Arkadelphia, was arrested for public intoxication by Harper. Harper's report indicated Ramsey "staggered" to a vehicle parked at the location and refused to pour out his alcoholic drink and return to the residence when asked by Harper to do so. Michael Maroney, Henderson's chief of police and associate dean of students, was informed of the incident when the parties were determined to be students at the university.

Way to represent, guys. One 'awshit' like this negates all the good karma that Ashley Judd generated at UK.
