The evening at Hoosier Park was dedicated to college students for the second annual College Night.

A total of 1517 people were in attendance during the night that included scholarship and I-Pod giveaways.

Also, the college group with the most people in attendance earned a cash prize of $1000.

The Student Affiliates of the American Chemical Society brought out 99 people to win the contest. The Athletic Training Club finished second with 97. Both groups are from Ball State University.

Kevin O'Connor of the fraternity Sigma Phi Epsilon also earned $500 for his group by winning a cart race on the track. Six different groups sent out their best runner to compete in a dash for cash pulling racing carts to the finish line for the dollars and the bragging rights.

More than 60 fraternity brothers were cheering O'Connor on as he crossed under the wire for the win.
