Arrow Electronics Inc., Long Island's largest company, has begun an internal investigation into allegations in an anonymous letter that its audit department is "run like a frat house," the company confirmed yesterday.
Among the charges: that lewd comments and sexual innuendo "dominate" conversations of the globe-traveling internal audit team; that the company has paid for trips to Las Vegas and other casino cities around the globe, where the staff allegedly engaged in gambling and sex; and that staffers were brought to a "pot" bar in Amsterdam for a "night of drinking and smoking marijuana."
