This is very similar to an earlier post. If I were a suspicious type I would wonder if there is a coordinated effort to the the message out to many schools but have it look like it is spontaneous in each community. Nah, that would never happen.
It’s not often one hears “Greek community” and “Christian fellowship” in the same sentence on college campuses.
But Andrew Gackenbach says this needs to change.
“People need to understand one can be both Greek and Christian,” said Gackenbach, a sophomore Sigma Phi Epsilon member and an avid supporter of the Greek-Christian merger. “The perception is that this is untrue.”
“There is a need for the Christian fellowships to reach out to the Greek community,” Gackenbach said. “In the past, they tend to have been ignored.”
