This month we have given our review of the new and improved website that Sig Ep launched recently. Reserved Kudos for a great work in progress. There are a few nits that need to be picked up, but it is a vast improvement over the previous version....
Now, this month's S&P National Fraternity/Sorority Website of the Month goes to Delta Gamma's Anchors Online . Seems most of the newer Greek HQ websites have taken to the boxy approach and many are designed to be compantible with the 800x600 screen - but who uses that low of resolution anyway. Seems there is much wasted space in the browser, but I guess "everybody's doing it."
Neat features of this are the contact drop downs at the top of the page so you can get a quick address or phone number.
The great selling point of this website, which is full of interesting historical facts as well as useful information for the alum and undergrad, is the Archives Request Screen which enables members to submit requests for historical information if they are doing some organizational reserach. This would be a great addition to Sig Ep's website, but where are our archives, who's maintaining them, and why do I sometimes see previously donated items to HQ on Ebay???
They also have a great organizational directory available so you can contact HQ Staff, Regional and National Leaders, etc.
Congratulations to Delta Gamma for being S&P's National Fraternity/Sorority Website of the Month!!
