Conway Mayor Tab Townsell says dismissal was too harsh a disciplinary step to take against three police officers involved in a confrontation with two University of Central Arkansas officers at a fraternity party. Townsell reversed the firings and instead suspended the officers.

The off-duty city officers were engaged to provide security for a crawfish boil at the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity house.
Written statements by the two campus officers said the city police responded with obscenity-laced language to the UCA officers' approach.
You just don't want to get between a good 'ole boy and his crawfish. It could get ugly.
