Hurricane Info

This information comes from Gary Huff and is current as of Tuesday evening...
Here is a chapter by chatper break down of what we know has happend in LA & MS. I do not have any information on AL, perhaps Russ Stephens can provide some additional information.

LA Alpha (Tulane)

Everyone left New Orleans and went to Dallas or Tallahasse. Everyone is safe. We believe that the house is flooded. No word on when of if school will resume.

LA Beta (LSU)

Baton Rouge was without power for a while. Lighting struck near the house and damaged some appliances. Everyone is safe.

LA Gamma (Loyola)

All except two members left New Orleans. The two who remained are safe, yet looking for a way to get out of New Orleans as quickly as possible. Everyone is safe.

MS Alpha (Ole Miss)

Very little hurricane hit Oxford, MS. Some trees were downed in the city. Everyone is safe.

MS Beta (Mississippi State)

Had some high winds. Everyone is safe. There was some minor damage to the property (broken window, shingles, shutters).

MS Gamma (University of Southern Mississippi)

No one has been able to contact anyone at Southern Mississippi. I am very concerned about these brothers, please keep them in your prayers. There was extensive hurricane damage at Hattiesburg. If anyone has any news on brothers in Southern Mississippi, please contact me (gleehuff@msn.com) or Sean Cosgrove (sean.cosgrove@sigep.net). We are anxious to hear.

I will provide updates as they come in. Sean & I are maintaining contact with each chapter. We may call upon brothers in the South to help out some of the undergraduates. We are kicking around ideas on how to keep these chapters together in the likely event that school does not resume in the fall semester.

Please keep these young men in your prayers.

Gary Huff

Thanks for the update, Gary. We will pass along any info we get.
