Did Mike Tyson get started this way?

12 Round Bout Set for Locals Saturday at GMU

MIKE SAWYER, a George Mason University graduate, will make his professional debut on the under card. Sawyer's opponent has not been released.
"I've been doing lots of road work and lots of sparring with amateurs from the national team," said Sawyer. "I'm nervous in a good way.
I have to perform. It's an intense period of time leading up to the fight. I will back up my words."
Sawyer, who graduated with a degree in finance as well as two minors in both economics and Spanish, keeps close ties with the university through his fraternity Sigma Phi Epsilon.
"I never really strayed too far," said Sawyer. "I still live in Fairfax, I go by the university a lot. It's a homecoming, but I have never been too far."
