Fire up for Keweenaw Day 2005!

Michigan Tech kicks off the school year.
Once again it’s that time of year for Tech students to enjoy a day filled with fun, food, music and prizes, while learning about all of the great clubs and organizations recruiting new members here on campus. Keweenaw Day is a University tradition entirely for the benefit of students, entirely organized by students and the perfect opportunity to meet new people and to get involved with any of the numerous extracurricular activities the University has to offer.

“K-Day promises to be a great event from the Sigma Rho 2nd Annual Hot Dog Eating Contest to the annual Sig Ep volleyball tournament to the student bands performing on stage for this year’s Battle of the Bands. Even some of the faculty and staff enjoy the day; President Mroz came out and participated in the Hot Dog Eating Contest last year.”

But did he eat the hot dogs while playing volleyball?
