A "Normal" Rush Story.

In places that aren't New Orleans, life is pretty much normal, thank goodness.

IFC hands out bids, scholarships to new frat members

UF freshman Steven Ross decided to join a fraternity -- for the girls, obviously, he said -- and to make new friends.

Ross said he visited several fraternity houses last week during the Interfraternity Council's recruitment, but nothing fit him better than Sigma Phi Epsilon.

Along with bringing in new members throughout recruitment week, IFC also handed out 10 scholarships for $500 each to fraternity hopefuls who best embodies the organization's values.

The interesting part is the IFC scholarships. What a great idea.
