SigEps back on campus at WSU

Another new chapter...Washington State U.

A fraternity chapter for Sigma Phi Epsilon has returned to WSU.

WSU was chosen as a viable location for the fraternity after a brief stint with the university in 1914.

Contrary to many fraternal ideals, academics are not the lipstick on Sigma Phi Epsilon’s collar, according to Scott Thompson, communication director for the new fraternity.

“Recruitment GPA is the main criteria for ours as well as other successful chapters,” Thompson said. “GPA is conducive to learning and is a major aspect of the application process.”

Will someone explain that metaphor? Academics aren't lipstick on the collar? Huh? Is that the best the Communications Director can do? Please tell me you were misquoted
