Monmouth College's Illinois Gamma chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon has received one of the national fraternity's 28 Buchanan Outstanding Chapter Awards.

"This was our 13th Buchanan Cup in chapter history," said senior C.O. Varnes of Hanna City, president of the Illinois Gamma chapter. "Along with Oregon Alpha from Oregon State University, we are the only two chapters to win 10 or more."
