Local children get 'spooktacular' Halloween

Fraternities at Lehigh got together to give kids a fun time at Halloween.

The Spooktacular Halloween event offered crafts and activities for 163 Bethlehem children Sunday in the upper University Center from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Children from Fountain Hill and Donegan elementary schools and local private schools participated in Spooktacular. Tour guides moved groups of 15 children from station to station, and children did activities such as making their own trick-or-treat bags and carving pumpkins.

The residence halls and Greek organizations were largely involved in Spooktacular.

Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity organized bag decoration, Alpha Chi Omega sorority painted children’s faces and Sigma Phi Epsilon had a station for making masks.
