John E. Kostic, 20, of Delran was fatally injured by the Friday afternoon accident, after a tractor-trailer crashed into his Chevy Cavalier. Family members said he was traveling alone.

Majoring in actuarial science, Kostic received a scholarship to attend Rider. He was a Bloustein Scholar, a member of the National Honors Society, the Student Finance Board and Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity.
To say that the 20-year-old was involved in his community and his school, would be an understatement.
During his free time, his family said Kostic was a Eucharist minister at the university’s chapel and a resident advisor to students.
Kostic graduated from Delran High School magna cum laude in 2003 and also refereed soccer games in his home town. He was a member of the Delran Athletic Association and worked part-time during high school at the Cinnaminson Library.
