DeKalb could close rooming houses

...And Sig Ep qualifies as a "rooming house".

The fraternity's property manager, Clark Johnson, said at his hearing that repairs to the electrical and smoke detector systems were under way and new windows and screens had been ordered for the house. Biernacki gave the owner and manager until Jan. 3 to finish the work or face the loss of their rooming house license.

Johnson blamed the failure to get the repairs done sooner on less-than-attentive former leaders of the house, but he said that leadership had now changed.
