Awareness is one of the reasons administrators and members of the fraternity Sigma Phi Epsilon (SPE) wanted to sponsor the holiday event.
The event was planned in collaboration with the Department of Student Affairs, the Spiritual Life Office and members of SPE.
SPE went to great lengths to make the celebration inclusive to all students, contacting speakers from various religious backgrounds to share a range of personal stories, a SPE representative said. Student speakers talked about various holiday traditions an enthusiastic crowd.
