Richmond, Virginia…Sigma Phi Epsilon announces applications are available for the 2006 Frank J. Ruck Leadership Institute via its web site, www.sigep.org. Applications are due March 17, 2006.
The 2006 Ruck Leadership Institute will take place at the College of William and Mary. Two sessions will be held, June 21-25 and July 12-16. A $395 registration fee covers all components of the program.
The program’s objectives center on personal leadership development. Participants build a personal vision and action plan, learn about the origins of Sigma Phi Epsilon, and its ambitions for the future. Renowned SigEp alumni serve as facilitators and speakers guiding Ruck Scholars. In just its seventh year, the program has reached 498 undergraduate participants.
The Institute is named for the late Frank J. Ruck, Jr., Michigan ‘46. He served on the Fraternity’s professional staff, as Grand Treasurer from 1965 to 1985, and Grand President from 1985 to 1987. He also served as President of the North-American Interfraternity Conference. Brother Ruck was a driving force in the creation of the Balanced Man Program.
