Fratequette would help Alpha Drive

Arizona State's student paper takes a local look at the Time Article.
Maybe some of ASU's fraternities should look into developing their own local versions of the BMP.

With programs emphasizing self-respect and promoting healthy living, perhaps our fraternities could prevent alcohol-related incidents rather than just trying to band-aid them.

Some fraternities may not find the idea appealing in the context of their fun frat houses, but consider that SigEp's members boast the highest average GPA among frats at 3.0 and that new recruits have increased 11 percent since 1999.

If that's not enough to appeal to the brothers at ASU, they may appreciate the anecdotal wisdom from OSU SigEp member Cameron Saffer, "[Women] can go to 21 other fraternities to get drunk ... here they find respectful young men."
That's Right. You can always appeal to the "higher instincts" of college men.
