...In other business, the commission heard plans to rebuild a fraternity house at Indiana Tech. Indiana ETA Alumni Corp. wants to replace the Sigma Phi Epsilon house at 1529 E. Washington Blvd. with a larger building.
The proposed two-story fraternity house would be able to house 19 students, said Justin Hoffman, president of Indiana ETA Alumni Corp. The current, three-story structure houses 13 students.
Plan commission members will consider next week whether to change the property’s zoning designation to allow for higher density residential development.
