We are often critical of alumni/volunteer opportunities. Now that we have a task force looking into opportunities, my question to you is this -- Exactly what opportunities do you want as an alumni? What will you participate in locally, regionally, or nationally, assuming there were no barriers to your participation?
What things should Sig Ep be doing to attract and train alumni? Should we have a national mentor program? (Yes, I know thousands signed up previously and the cards are in boxes in the basement of Zollinger House.) Should we have a national web-base for job opportunities?
Should we have local clubs in larger cities that have regular activities that have Richmond support?
What electronic media should we have based out of Richmond for undergrads and alumni? Should our Richmond website have more clicks for services? How can that website be more user friendly?
What barriers do you see to greater alumni participation? How can they be overcome?
Add any questions you might have and give tons of suggestions!
The ball is in your court - let's have some positive solutions. Maybe even the Volunteer Committee might see these to add to their report!
