I just received word today that Brother John Hofmann, OGH, passed away on June 16, 2006. Brother Hofmann was the glue that held the Cal Gamma chapter at the University of California at Santa Barbara together for some 30 years. Tough, opinionated, and extremely passionate about Sig Ep, Brother Hofmann was the epitome of a servant leader and a local legend amongst us volunteers here in So Cal and amongst the Richmond staff who worked with him in their travels. It was an honor and privilege for me to serve with him as a volunteer here in Southern California.
Below is the obituary that appeared in today's Cincinnati Enquirer. RIP Brother Hofmann. The thoughts and prayers of the hundreds (if not thousands) Sig Eps you touched are with you and your family.
