Ohio Gamma Gains Five Awards to be Tops at Ohio State

The Ohio State University recently reported the frontrunners of their annual “Outstanding Awards”.

These awards were given to the most qualified and deserving students, organizations, and advisors. On the evening of March 31st, the Ohio Gamma chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon found out that they were named Outstanding Student Organization.

This was a monumental achievement for the SigEp chapter, utterly destroying any and all preconceived notions any campus and city residents may have had of the stereotypical “frat” image.

In addition, individual brothers obtained similar awards for their accomplishments within the campus community. Brothers Jon McCann, Matt Mason, and Rian Rainey secured Outstanding First-Year Students, brother Srinivas Kondapalli was named the Outstanding Student Organization Leader and seniors Adam Schwartz and Aaron Wilcox captured Most Outstanding Senior award.

The brothers weren’t the only ones caring away hardware; faculty advisor Don Stenta landed Outstanding Student Organization Advisor.

Overall, Sigma Phi Epsilon seized five out of less than a dozen category awards
