Anyone who has ever been a part of a CLA or Conclave knows the great work done by Debi Wester, long time Sig Ep staffer. Craig Templeton announced today that Debi will be retiring at the end of this month.
Debi Wester is leaving the Fraternity staff this month after 35 years of dedicated service to the Fraternity. She joined the staff in November, 1971, serving many years as the bookkeeper and then as our meeting planner, primarily responsible for booking and negotiating Conclaves and Carlson Leadership Academies, managing registrations, travel and the myriad of associated details. She has a reputation among hoteliers as a hard driving negotiator who watched expenses like a hawk. She will be missed and has left a long-lasting mark on SigEp.
Debi, known to many by her nickname "Debit" from her accounting days, and her husband, Rex, purchased a home on the outer banks in North Carolina. Rex retired recently and they are moving to their outer banks home.
We wish her the best.
Craig.
We all send our thanks to this very special person whose planning made so many of our events successful!
