Ole Miss Frat House To Open After Deadly Fire

Out of the ashes...
The new Alpha Tau Omega fraternity house will open Thursday. The house burned in 2004, in a fire that killed three of the fraternity's brothers.

The new house is built on the same site as the old one. It will house 40 of the chapter's 145 members.

Alpha Tau Omega will place Magnolia trees on the grounds of its new house to memorialize the three men who lost their lives nearly two years ago.

Fraternity members Howard Stone of Martinsville, Virginia, Will Townsend of Clarksdale and Jordan Williams of Atlanta were killed in the early morning fire on August 27, 2004.
We wish them well.
