Fire Destroys 2nd Tulane Fraternity House

Fire destroys fraternity house Uptown

An early morning fire destroyed a fraternity house near Tulane University Saturday morning.

There were no injuries reported in the incident, which took place at the Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity House at 1006 Broadway. The house was unoccupied with students still on holiday break.

It was the second fire fraternity house fire this week, according to the New Orleans Fire Department.

The fire began around 2:30 a.m. and eventually 59 firefighters and 25 pieces of equipment were used to bring it under control.

The building was believed to have housed 10 students
