Binghamton's Newest Frat Creating Positive Image on Campus
Binghamton University's newest fraternity, Theta Delta Chi, is promoting a positive image for all Greeks to follow on campus. The brothers are still trying to become a recognized organization at the campus, but have participated in hundreds of hours of community service by volunteering at soup kitchens and nursing homes and picking up trash."You usually read about drunk students doing irresponsible things," David Bolatin, a Theta Delta Chi brother, told a local New York newspaper. "We're trying to make a better name for our students."The university has 41 fraternities and sororities recognized on campus, and Theta Delta Chi hopes to be next.
