Eggs, paint used on Drake fraternity houses

The SigEp and Sigma Chi houses at Drake were vandalized this week.

Vandals hit the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity house near Drake University this week.

Des Moines police said a yard sign was damaged with spray paint and eggs were thrown at the front of the house at 1243 34th St. A front screen window was torn.

At the Sigma Chi fraternity at 3212 Forest Ave., someone painted a cross in the front yard, police said. No arrests were reported and police listed no suspects.
