SigEp Chapters Raise over $60,000 for Childhood Cancer Research

(University of Michigan SigEp Chapter)

SigEps from the University of Michigan, Drexel University, and Northern Kentucky University shaved their heads in support of the St. Baldrick's Foundation, which funds research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives.

Between the three chapters over 150 undergraduates and alumni participated in their respective events, raising over $60,000. for the St. Baldrick's Foundation in March 2011. For these chapters, it started out as a small event, but over the past couple of years, it has grown to be one of their widest suppported events for their chapters.

Kudos to the undergraduates and alumni of Pennsylvania Beta Beta, Michigan Alpha and Kentucky Eta. If you or your chapter is interested in participating in a future event (hundreds of events are held throughout the country), visit http://www.stbaldricks.org/.
