When the Greeks go Dry? The questions is, "how long will it last this time?"

In the aftermath of tragedy at two schools in Colorado, many things are being proposed, mandated, and "implemented." Is this all just a CYA for University liability or is it a real effort to address the problem and positively modify student risky behavior? Will the Universities and the organizations make a real effort to make real change or is it just again "lip service." Only time will tell, but without on-going education and diligence positive, long-term change will never be made. This author's guess is that as soon as the issue gets off the front page and out of the public eye, fraternity and sorority members will once again start plotting about how they can get around this new set of rules.

CSU fraternities and sororities are mapping out a plan to become alcohol-free by Oct. 11.
