This week "Sanguine et Purpure" has gone over 8300 page views since we started counting in August. Not a bad startup, especially when you consider that our publicity comes almost exclusively from posts on the Yahoo group "SigEp-Talk" (850) members.
Thank you for coming, and thank you for coming back. As long as you keep showing up, we'll keep posting. This site is here for the good of the Fraternity.
Feedback
Now we would like to ask you readers for something. Feedback. Hearing from you is the best way for us to know we are putting up what you want to see. We want to hear from undergrads, alumni, volunteers, and yes, even HQ staff and our "trusted leaders."
- Send email to either Wordjunky or the Oracle and you may be sure it will be read. You will probably get an answer - a real one, not "thank you for sharing".
- Make comments on the posts. Serious ones or sarcastic flames are all ok. Just go ahead and put it up. You don't have to leave a name or email address if you don't want to.
- Want to make a guest post? Write it up and send it in to Wordjunky or Oracle. The limits of "Blogger" won't allow guest bloggers but we can post for you with full attribution - or not, as you desire.
- The only caveat - personal attacks or heavy use of profanity may get your comment deleted at the discretion of "the management".
- We won't guarantee every submission gets posted, but if not it won't be because we disagree with you. If we don't post it, we will let you know the reason why. We are trying to keep this "corporation/business friendly" so we won't be filtered out of the working sector LANs.
Promotion
We will make you a deal - You promote us and we'll promote you. Put a link to us on your Chapter website, your blog, or your website. Then send us a note and we will return the favor by adding the site to our 'blogroll list'.
Finally
One last thing to whet your interest. In the next week or so we will be posting a "Frequently Asked Questions" page. If you ask a good question we'll include it (and credit you and your chapter, if you like).
