The Illinois Nu Chapter at Eastern Illinois University had the highest GPA for fall semester.
For the fall 2004 semester, the highest GPA went to the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity and the Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority.
Adam Huhn, a junior management major and Sigma Phi Epsilon member, said the men are proud of their accomplishments in academics.
"We always shoot to be number one in grades," Huhn said. "It is kind of a tradition for us. We've tried to keep it going."
He also said that they do whatever possible to make sure all members' grades are high.
"Any member whose grades are below the house average has to get help," Huhn said. "They either have to go to the (Inter fraternity Council) sponsored study hours or come to the house and study."

Huhn said Sigma Phi Epsilon gives the five members with the highest GPAs in the fraternity at the end of the semester discounts on next semester's dues as a reward for their hard work.
Way to go, guys.
