Accomplishments: Spending last year working with the Coalition Provisional Authority in Iraq, Erwin founded Ambassadors of Democracy to teach Iraqi students the tenets of democracy; program has continued since Erwin was wounded June 2 in a car ambush that killed two Iraqi friends; Defense of Freedom Medal; internships with Vice President Cheney and Rep. Academic All Stars are pretty "Balanced" almost by definition. Scott Erwin has some incredible credentials. We profiled him last year and he was the subject of a Summer 2004 "Journal" (p44) article. Congratulations, Scott.
