The Phi Kappa Theta fraternity at the University of Kansas has been expelled after police seized 16 kegs of beer and cited nine people for alcohol violations at a recent party.
It's the first time a fraternity has been expelled at the university, officials said. Phi Kappa Theta must cease operations as a fraternity at Kansas and it loses all membership privileges for an unspecified length of time. The 35 members will not be allowed to join another fraternity.
