Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there.
- Dads who remember their college years and hope that their sons will do as well (or better!) than they did.
- Dads who are not reading this post, but your son is because he is a Sig Ep. Thanks for allowing him to be part of this great brotherhood.
- Dads who didn't go to college but have worked and saved so their children could have a better shot.
- Dads recently out of college with young kids. You know what an awesome responsibility you have to care for them.
- And last to those of you who will become dads one day and know the joy and the anxiety of loving and raising kids.
I know I am a better father because of my experiences with the fraternity. I learned about guiding those who come after me in my experiences in the chapter as an undergraduate with responsibilities. I learned even more as an alumni volunteer. Some days you can burst with pride. Others will break your heart. Occasionally you get both at the same time.
Damn I'm proud to be a Sig Ep.
