Hasner law will make initiations resulting in injuries punishable by five years in jail

Hazing activities that result in serious bodily injury are now criminal offenses in the state of Florida.

Gov. Jeb Bush this week signed into law a bill filed by state Rep. Adam Hasner (R-Delray Beach) intended to crack down on hazing on Florida’s college campuses and high schools.
