Fits to a "T"

A package came in the mail yesterday. The return address was unfamiliar but it had my name on it, so I figured it was mine (heh). When I opened it there was a nice letter from YouthAids thanking me for participating in the fun run at Conclave and helping them to raise money. There was also a T-shirt. You may remember that I groused about no T-shirt at the time. Well, all things come to those who wait, I suppose. I was glad to do the run anyway; YouthAids is a good cause and I need the exercise. (Self-disclosure: The last of the "Outstanding Chapter Website" certificates went in the mail this past weekend so I have no room to belabor timeliness.)

Speaking of exercise, in an earlier post I mentioned the "Sig Ep Striders". The way I understand it, this is an effort to get more people exercising - especially running/jogging/walking - on a regular basis. Hopefully they will get a start on a lifelong fitness and "healthy body" program. Some people are working now to get the program going. They are not quite ready for roll-out, so I won't speak out of school any more and spoil things. But keep your eyes open for the announcements.

I just hope they have neat T-shirts.
