Greeks offer fun besides house decs

Even if Sig Ep can't have the Haunted house they wanted ther will still be a bunch of fun at OSU this weekend.
Delta Tau Delta is having its fourth annual carnival, which includes about 10 full-scale rides, a mechanical bull, a climbing wall and a bungee trampoline. These activities fill the need for activities for children of alumni during the walkaround.

“When I came to homecoming as a kid, I was always expecting rides and was disappointed,” said Kirk McGinnis, the Delt carnival chairman.

All the proceeds from the Delts’ event will benefit the Habitat for Humanity’s efforts to rebuild houses for Gulf Coast hurricane victims. This past year’s carnival raised about $6,000 for the American Cancer Society. The Delt house is at 1306 W. University Ave.

Other fraternity events taking place during the walkaround include a concert at the Sigma Phi Epsilon house, which is at 1304 W. Fourth St., and rapper DJ Scrilla at the Lambda Chi Alpha house at 923 W. University Ave.
