It was "The Greatest Show on Earth"
With a lofty theme of 'Greatest Show on Earth,' Austin Peay State University set high expectations for its 2005 homecoming celebration.
For the 60th year, APSU observed the halftime tradition of crowning a homecoming queen; this time it was senior English major Tamira Cole, who is currently serving an internship with The Leaf-Chronicle.

Brandon Trull, a senior majoring in chemistry, was named the university's seventh homecoming king.
"The title is an image and a face for APSU and everything the school represents," he said. "As a senior, I couldn't ask for more."
