Our weekends have been filled with the nightlife of the city, and I spent last Saturday having a blast with some new Spanish friends. We went out to dinner at a Cuban restaurant, and spent the night dancing away at a Spanish discoteca. I have been lucky to enjoy such good company, and found that the Spanish dance much more elegantly than we Americans do.

We now find that we cannot shed our Americanisms fast enough. We have adopted the Castillian accent, carry ourselves as Sevillanos, and all of our clothing that appears American has been placed in our drawers; for our Americanisms will not emerge from the drawer until the day our feet once again touch American soil. I will start salsa classes this week, for many of the Spanish discotecas feature salsa dancing exclusively, and few foreigners are able to master it.

Many of you - mostly brothers of Sigma Phi Epsilon - have inquired of me as to how the women are here; what they look like, how they act and present themselves, and other sorts of questions which I am sure you can imagine. The only thing that I can say is the following:
Their faces are beacons of color, intense emotion, intelligence and life. They are very passionate, demanding and assertive. They have started to notice that Tony and I have arrived, for we appear, carry, and present ourselves as proper, handsome, and outgoing gentlemen.
