Swamp Party announces candidates

So now it looks like there are two Sig Eps running for SGA top offices in Florida. Kinda reminds you of the Kerry-Bush "Skull and Bones" thing a bit, huh?

Student Body presidential candidate John Boyles, who is heading Swamp's ticket, announced Lydia Washington and Ryan Moseley as his running mates for this Spring's Student Government election.

During a party meeting at the Alpha Omicron Pi house, Boyles said Washington will be the party's vice presidential candidate, while Moseley is running for Student Body treasurer.

Moseley, who is president of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity, is also a student senator and chairman of the Senate's Budget and Appropriations Committee.

Boyles said Moseley's work on the committee makes him an ideal candidate for Student Body treasurer.

"There won't be anyone more knowledgeable and ready to take care of the students' money in the next year," Boyles said.
