Raise money for SigEp while you search

I've started a website called SigEp Search. It is a search portal that will raise money for SigEp when you use it to search the internet. Go to www.sigepsearch.com and check it out. Here's how it works: Advertisers pay big bucks to Google to put their advertisements next to your search results. By going to www.sigepsearch.com to search the internet, the advertising revenue will go to SigEp. The profits that are generated by people using SigEp Search will be contributed to the Sigma Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation.

How much money will this raise? On average, about 1 cent per search. You might think that's not very much, but collectively it adds up. Look at it this way: There are about 1100 people who subscribe to SigEp Talk. If each person uses SigEp Search 3 times per day, that's more than 1.2 million searches per year, which translates to over $12,000 per year! Now, if you take into consideration that there are a couple hundred thousand SigEps out there, imagine how much money we can raise!

So set it as your homepage and give it a try to see what you think. Tell your friends about it and put a link on your chapter website. Send me an e-mail to tell me what to do different, if you like it, hate it, or have any other ideas to help out the site. Just keep in mind that I'm doing this in my free time, so the changes will not happen overnight.
